Every bed frame and mattress we sell is backed by one simple 24-month warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase.
What is covered
- Bed frames: structural parts such as side rails, headboard, footboard and centre support; bolts, brackets and fixings; factory finishes; and moving parts on ottoman beds, including hinges and gas lifts that fail through normal household use.
- Mattresses: broken or protruding springs; sagging deeper than 3cm that is not normal settlement or caused by an unsuitable base; failed stitching, split seams and faulty handles.
Parts and labour
- Months 1 to 12: we supply parts or a replacement and cover reasonable labour, collection and delivery costs.
- Months 13 to 24: replacement parts remain free of charge. You pay only labour or delivery fees, which we always quote before any work begins.
What is not covered
- Normal wear such as minor scuffs, natural colour change or fabric pilling.
- Damage from incorrect assembly, over-tightened bolts, accidents, misuse, or moving house without proper dismantling.
- Commercial or rental use, damp or water damage, and stained or soiled mattresses.
- Gentle body impressions of up to 3cm in a mattress, which are a normal part of settling.
Keeping your warranty valid
- Keep your proof of purchase.
- Assemble and use the bed as shown in the instructions, indoors in a dry room.
- Re-tighten all frame bolts after 30 days and every 6 months.
- Ottoman beds: keep the mattress under 60kg so the gas lifts work safely.
- Use mattresses on a supportive, correctly sized base with a mattress protector, and rotate them regularly.
How to claim
- Take photos of the issue: a wide shot and close-ups. For a mattress dip, lay a straight edge across it and photograph a ruler showing the depth.
- Email support@finecraftfurniture.co.uk with your order number, the photos and a short description.
- We aim to reply within 2 working days and may ask for more photos or a short video call.
- We then arrange free replacement parts, a repair or a replacement.
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.
